Cha Kee, as the name suggest, is a type of restaurant originated in Hong Kong, which provide combination of Canto Cuisine and  Western Cuisine.

Back in 1850s, Western Cuisine is for the privileged, and its financially out of reach for most of the locals. After the 2nd World War, Hong Kong was heavily influenced by the British culture, and as years went by, many locals were curious and wanted to have a taste of the western food, but they could not afford it.  Some had decided to bring the western taste to the locals dinning tables, hence, after many attempts with trial and error, a new form of Cuisine was born, Canto-Western Cuisine.
